Disapointment -161 words Sep. 4th, 2004 @ 05:17 am
Trill's face was contorted as she watched. Her brow was most definately furrowed, and her nose was crinkled up. Every time Cela moved, a rousing chorus of "Issitdone? Issitdone?"s popped out of her mouth, to which Cela would sigh and say "No Trill, not yet."

Then Trill would huff and go back to pouting. She flopped down in a chair and Friday jumped into her lap. She patted his head a moment before she began to lament to him. "Of all the days, why did the radio have to break down TODAY?!"

"Probably because it was accidentally flung across the room?" Cela supplied before returning to fix it.

"Oh yeah..." Trill replied, blushing a bit.

"You could always hum something while you dance."

Trill hopped off the couch and tried just that. Soon enough, she was so wrapped up in her moves, that she didn't realize Cela had finished and snuck into the other room to get some peace and quiet.

Family Advice - 192 words Aug. 21st, 2004 @ 06:04 am
Trill hums softly to herself, as she sits on a desk and ponders the question. "Well, what if, it doesn't apply to me?"

Cela shook her head. "I don't know, I'm not the one that signed up for this anyway, you did."

"I know that! But I thought it was going to be EASY stuff, like... 'what's your favorite color?' or 'how does your favorite song describe you best?' or 'what's better to avoid dizzyness, plugging your ears or spotting your head?' oooooor 'what's the meaning of life?' you know! Easy stuff!"

Cela sighed and shook her head. "Well, didn't Ducker ever say anything of importance to you?"

"Not really, he just yelled a lot."

"So something you can pass onto your kids is don't yell a lot?"

"Cela... I'm not going to have kids."

"Why can't you can't adopt?"

"I didn't think that was legal." Trill shrugged and hopped off the desk. "I suppose I could always go impart my wisdom to Friday. In that case, most of it will be something like 'Don't eat Doc's hair.'"

Cela sighed and shook her head as Trill skipped off to find Chilly's pet.

The world will end tomorrow. What do you do today? - 178 words Jun. 12th, 2004 @ 12:56 pm
OOH! OOH! I know this one!

I'd run outside and sing "It's the end of the world as we know it!" at the top of my voice!

Well, that's really all I know of the song, so... it probably wouldn't last too long, would it? I could repeat it a couple of times I suppose, but that would get old after awhile.

So let's see... something else... something else...

OH! EAT ALL THE ICE CREAM BEFORE IT MELTS!

Ok so... not that I have no voice, and am sick and full... what else could I do?

Ohhhhh, I could probably go down to Ducker's mainframe that I've had a crush on ever since Cela hacked into it. (You have to believe me! He beeps in such a cute way!) But even if I knew tomorrow would never come, that might be a difficult thing to do. Not because I'm shy (really, I don't think I am at all). But I think I've forgotten high-level computer language. It's been far too long since I've used it.

Holiday - 190 words. Jun. 2nd, 2004 @ 01:46 pm
"My favorite is... Holi-day!" Trill exclaimed excitedly as she threw her arms up in the air.
"I've never heard of it."
"Of course you haven't, Cela, I just made it up!"
Cela heaved a heavy sigh and covered her eyes with her hand. "All right, let's hear it."
"It'd be in August, because August doesn't have any big holidays, right? RIGHT?!" she explained, nudging Cela gently.
"Yes, yes of course."
"Weeeeell. Then it could be, like, the holiday to celebrate all holidays! You bring out all your decorations and put them EVERYWHERE!"
"You don't say...?"
"All the stores could have a big blowout on all the special once a year goods, and so could the card companies! It's so simple!"
"Trill, no one would ever go for that."
That seemed to deflate her exuberance some, and her smile faltered slightly. "Oh, you think so?"
"If there was one day to celebrate all the holidays, why would everyone take the time to celebrate them on their respective dates?"
"I suppose I never thought of that."
"It really was a lovely thought, though."
"I still think August should have a holiday."
"Me too, dear."

THE MOVIE OF MY LIFE WOULD BE A MUSICAL! May. 2nd, 2004 @ 09:55 am
I know it would! You see, there was this one time Chilly, Cela and I found all these old movies, and our favorites had all these big dance sequences! It was fascinating!

As for who would play me? ME OF COURSE! I can't imagine not being able to have the thrill of doing such a thing!

We could tell the story of how Unison made Emperor Ducker realize dancing wasn't all bad! I'm getting giddy just thinking about it! How we gained fans slowly but surely, and those nice soldiers who helped us airjack the concerts. That was so much fun, and there is nothing like a good adrenaline rush to up your performance just that little bit.

But the best part would be the COLOSSAL DANCE SEQUENCES! It would have a great score... all the music we used, and some new songs. (I adore that Night of Fire song... it gets stuck in my head every time I hear it!)

How about like a dem-on-archy? Like where there's a ruler in charge that does what the people want? Or... something like that. I just made the word up. I suppose that's what I live in. Emperor Ducker is a really nice guy now that he's loosened up (thanks to help from Unison, his mumber one fans!)

After all, if a ruler is all mean and oppressive and such, won't he lose his following? What good is a ruler without people to govern? I suppose it just doesn't make sense to me! Course, I also don't see how Twin Ships was for so long a place without dance, it seems so commonplace now that it's hard to remember anything before!

OH WELL!

What do I know? It's not like I'd have any say in any form of government. Just my little spiel. I'm off to work on some new moves.
